There’s a Slice for Everyone: Family-Friendly Pizza in Chattanooga

As I am currently on a dairy-free diet due to my newborn’s allergy, I can’t help but plot my way through a pizza-eating binge for when I can return to the wonderful world of cheese.

Chattanooga is happily situated in a valley brimming with pizza fans, or so I must assume, as we have more than our fair share of options.

My personal family favorite:

Growing up, I remember going to Mr. T’s Pizza and Ice Cream in St. Elmo on Sundays with my grandparents and great aunts. There was always something titillating about shoving my face full of truly delicious pizza while playing in their small arcade and watching the incline creep up and down Lookout Mountain. In my youth, I gleefully finished my pizza and followed it with an ice cream piled so high I could barely lift the cone.

Though the scoops are a bit smaller now, Mr. T’s pizza is still just as delicious, the view is just as breath-taking, and the price is ultimately reasonable. All these factors confirm Mr. T’s as my number one favorite outing for pizza and family.

Beyond that, there are plenty of delicious family-friendly restaurants in the area to choose from. As most pizza is inherently family-friendly to some extent, I tried not to leave anyone out.
