The Chattanooga Public Library serves City of Chattanooga residents through its main library in downtown Chattanooga and through four branches. Our mission is to be the community’s catalyst for lifelong learning. Neighborhood library locations include the Northgate, Eastgate, South Chattanooga and Avondale branches.
The Fort Oglethorpe Pool is located inside Gilbert-Stephenson Park. You can join for the year or pay by the day. You can also find a new playground, tennis courts, walking track, and picnic tables in the park.
The Miracle League of Chattanooga is a fantastic athletic league that is inclusive for everyone! The YMCA runs the league, and their facilities are beautiful.
Red Clay Resort is a privately owned resort in North Georgia. With it’s spring-fed pool, concessions, kiddie pool, game areas, and picnic areas, this spot is great for the whole family.
Since 1985, Grace Academy has offered a Christ-centered education, blending the pursuit of knowledge with Biblical wisdom. They serve students in grades pre-k through 12.
The UTC Children’s Center is an early childhood program operated by the School of Education, College of Health, Education and Professional Studies. The center serves children from six weeks of age through prekindergarten at two local sites: Brown Academy on the UTC campus and Battle Academy downtown. The Tennessee Department of Human Services licenses the center. The prekindergarten program is approved by the Tennessee Department of Education. Priority for enrollment is given to children of UTC faculty, staff and students.

The James A. Smith Planetarium is operated by the Walker County School System. While a majority of their programming is for school children, the Planetarium offers some occasional public programming.
Public planetarium programs are usually presented on the first Sunday afternoon of each month at 2:30 p.m. and on the last Tuesday evening of each month at 7:30 p.m. unless the date falls when schools are not in session or there is inclement weather. The planetarium operates from October 2nd through December 13th and from January 14th through May 14th.

The Hamilton County School District is comprised of 576-square miles in southeastern Tennessee with a population of 357,738 residents. The 79 schools consist of Pre-K through grade twelve with nearly 2,800 full-time teachers responsible for educating over 44,500 students.
The Martha Denton Swimming Pool is located in Ringgold, GA. You can pay by the day or join for the season.
Lake Winnie is a great small amusement park for the whole family to enjoy! They have dry rides and a water park, so you can make a day of it!
