A private Christian school serving Infants, ages six weeks – 8th grades – BCA is fully accredited and offers a complete academic program starting in Pre-K1. We have been educating students in the Chattanooga area since 1887, providing a solid foundation academically and spiritually to prepare them to attend the college-preparatory high school of their choice.
(BCA) is fully accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation and AdvancEd. In addition to focusing on academic excellence and spiritual growth for each child, BCA is able to offer individual attention in a family-oriented environment. Sports opportunities include volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country and track. Students may also participate in extracurricular activities such as Tae Kwon-Do, gymnastics, ballet, choir, piano and voice lessons.
The school also offers year-round child care through its on-campus Christian Children’s Center for infants ages six weeks to early age three, preparing them for success in the full academic programs for pre-k3/4, kindergarten, elementary and middle school levels.

Since 1953 it has been the mission of Brainerd Baptist School to provide a high-quality, comprehensive academic program in a loving Christian environment. Our school, serving grades PreK3-5th, is dedicated to the belief that young people need both strong educational and spiritual guidance to grow into adults who will be positive contributing influences in the community and world.
K3, K4, K5: Our K3 curriculum is literature based. Students develop crucial gross and fine motor skills while learning through creative play! In K4, our students are exposed to reading, math, art, physical education, technology, music, library, Bible and Spanish. Our K5 program is traditional kindergarten where the foundation for independent reading, phonics, and math skills is formed. These students will also participate in fine arts classes, such as: art, physical education, technology, music, library, Bible and Spanish.
1st-5th: The accelerated approach that is offered at Brainerd Baptist School prepares our students not only to be accepted at the best schools in Chattanooga, but to excel at those schools once they get there. We utilize research-based programs so as to equip students to think deeply, critically and be able to transfer skills across the curriculum. All students will also participate in fine arts classes, such as: art, physical education, technology, music, library, Bible and Spanish. Additionally, our students also have STEM, coding, chess, cooking, and carpentry as a part of their academic days.

Founded in 1937, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is an elementary parochial school serving Catholic and non-Catholic families, welcoming children of all faiths in grades Pre-K3 through 8th. O.L.P.H., along with all ten Diocesan Schools, is accredited through AdvancED/SACS/. We are part of a system of excellence, meeting AdvancED’s high standards of achievement. O.L.P.H. is a Tennessee State certified Catholic School.
Along with our challenging standards-driven core curriculum and our strong religion program, our students (PreK through eighth grades) receive a rich arts and technology education. Our technology program includes One-to-One Chromebooks for the middle school and multiple iPad labs available for use in the elementary classrooms. Teachers also have access to our certified Nature Explore Outdoor classroom where students learn through play and exploration.
We also offer a variety of enrichment programs and a full time after school program. There are many opportunities to participate in competitive athletics including football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, golf, track and field, cross country, tennis and cheerleading.

Located on a beautiful, wooded, 24-acre campus in the East Brainerd community, St. Nicholas School is an independent Episcopal school for boys and girls in preschool through 5th grade. Founded in 1958 as a neighborhood kindergarten at Grace Episcopal Church, St. Nicholas has grown into a unique educational community of cottage-based classrooms that provides focused settings for integrated learning. Our Early Learning Center offers a nature-based program that is Reggio Emilia-inspired.
