The most well known sunflower field in the Chattanooga area is Smith Perry Berry Farm. Thousands of people flock to this field every July for beautiful flowers and stunning pictures. They sell shirts every year, offer photo opportunities with classic cars, and incorporate all kinds of fun activities for your family to enjoy. You can check their Facebook page and website for updates on the sunflowers, picking/picture times, and inclement weather announcements. They are expecting sunflowers to peak shortly after the 4th of July.

Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge is trying their hand at sunflowers this year! Known for their apple orchards, they have now added sunflowers and are open for pictures.

If you are up for a drive, Fausett Farms in Dawsonville is a great option. They grow their flowers later in the season, so you can enjoy these beauties in September. With its tucked-away location, it’s a hidden spot not many Chattanooga natives know about.

For our friends closer to Atlanta, a great option for you is Cooper Creek Farms located in Calhoun, GA. They have a full-blown sunflower festival, so this is a fantastic option for families. There is a general admission fee here, but the activities for children are endless. You can make a day of it with all there is to do, and they sell food on the premises as well. It is already open for the season.
