Chattanooga Waterfront DiningLiving in Chattanooga, where we have the most beautiful river running through (maybe I am biased) and with several lakes nearby, we are lucky to have several great waterfront dining options! Whether you are grabbing lunch with friends or going on a romantic date with your significant other, check out these great dining options for ambiance and great food!

Tennessee River Views

Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar

Located off of Riverside Drive, Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar has a diverse menu including a raw bar with different oysters and shellfish available, as well as sandwiches, and a variety of entrees and house specialties. They have a happy hour daily from 2-6pm, where you can enjoy drinks on their outdoor sandbar and take in the beautiful views of the Tennessee River!

Scottie’s on the River

Scottie’s on the River is also located on Riverside Drive. In addition to their lunch and dinner menus, they also have a Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm. Their menu is mainly seafood, but they also have non-seafood options as well. Heads-up: parking costs about $8.

Overboard Bar & Grille

Overboard Bar & Grille is located at the dock for the Southern Belle Riverboat, just above the gift shop. They offer sandwiches (including burgers), appetizers, salads, and desserts that you can enjoy inside while watching sports or playing games, as well as outside on the patio overlooking the river. In addition, they have a full bar with a variety of drinks!

Southern Belle Riverboat

Speaking of the Southern Belle Riverboat, while it isn’t a traditional restaurant, they have regular dinner cruises as well as special dinner cruises for different holidays.  Cruising down the Tennessee River, you will have the absolute best waterfront views while enjoying dinner!

River Drifters

I have not yet been to River Drifters, but it is on my list of restaurants to visit! Located on the Tennessee River near Signal Mountain, their menu features burgers, chicken, seafood, tacos, and sandwiches! You can eat inside in a fun atmosphere, and there is also patio dining as well.

The Upper Bank

The Upper Bank is located off of Highway 41, near Raccoon Mountain.  Their menu features hickory wood fired grill menu items, as well as appetizers, a variety of entrees and desserts.

Chickamauga Lake Views

Lakeshore Grill

Lakeshore Grille is a great date night spot, with beautiful views of Chickamauga Lake and the Lakeshore Marina. Their menu includes French inspired dishes, and they have special deals each night of the week such as Happy Hour and Ladies’ Night.

Zois Harbor Lights Restaurant

Zois Harbor Lights Restaurant is a great place to eat after a day out at the lake in Soddy Daisy. They have an extensive food and drink menu, live music and entertainment, and you can enjoy your food or drink on the deck, overlooking the marina.

Harrison Bay Views

Amigos Mexican Cocina

What is better than Mexican food and margaritas right on the water? Amigos Mexican Cocina has you covered! Located in Harrison Bay at Island Cove Marina, you can enjoy a great atmosphere inside or outside overlooking the water!

Dockside Cafe

Dockside Cafe, also located in Harrison, is both family friendly and pet friendly (on the deck).  Their menu and something for everyone, including salads, seafood, steaks, burgers, unique sandwiches, tacos, and flatbread pizzas!
