Tennessee
Pigeon Forge Snow – Located in Pigeon Forge, TN, this popular spot is open all year long! You can snow tube in the comfort of the indoors whenever the need hits you. Prices vary based on the schedule and activities of your choice. You must be 38 inches tall to participate.
Ober Gatlinburg – Located in Gatlinburg, TN, this winter haven offers snow tubing along with other winter sports. Tubing is outdoors here, so make sure to bundle up. Sessions run for 90 minutes. Ages 3 and up can participate in tubing, and there is an outdoor escalator available so little legs won’t be worn out from all the fun. Unless the weather is severe, plan on tubing in all weather conditions. Weekday rates are $35 for 90 minutes and $45 on the weekends.
North Carolina
Highlands Outpost – Located in Scaly Mountain, NC, this spot offers snow tubing for ages 4+ (must be 42 inches). A magic carpet is on site to save your legs from walking. They also offer snow play for ages 8 and under. Tickets are priced for 2-hour sessions.
Tube World – Tube World, located in Maggie Valley, is the home of great snow tubing fun each winter! The groomed slope is made for riding specially designed inner tubes. A magic carpet is offered here as well. Sessions are 1 hour and 45 minutes each.
Zip N Slip – Located in Mars Hill, Zip N Slip offers great runs, a magic carpet to get you to the top, and a solarium with a fireplace for viewing. Pricing is based on 1-2 hour sessions. It’s for ages 3+, and children 5 and under are free.
Sapphire Valley Tube Park – The entire family will enjoy this 500 foot run with a vertical drop of 60 feet! Attendants and an easy ‘moving sidewalk’ get you and your tube to the top and off you go. Sessions are 1 hour and 45 minutes long.
Moonshine Mountain – Located in Hendersonville, NC, this park is completely devoted to snow tubing. All ages can tube for $35 for a 2 hours session. Children must be 36 inches to participate. Food trucks are on site for food and energy breaks.
Sugar Mountain Tubing – Located on the Sugar Mountain Golf Course, the 700 foot long tubing lanes are serviced by a Magic Carpet lift. Snowmaking, lights for night tubing and regularly groomed lanes complete the facility. Sessions are just under two hours long and run from 10am until 10pm. Weekday rates are $36 for an hour and 45 minutes and $45 on the weekends.
Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing – Located in Jonas Ridge, NC, this another spot that is completely devoted to snow tubing. Sessions run for 1 hour and 45 minutes and cost $35. It’s requested that reservations are made before coming.
