Summer is in full swing in Chattanooga and lavender is in the air! Lavender farms are a great place to pick some beautiful flowers, sneak a few sweet pictures, and enjoy a summer evening outside.
Lookout Lavender Farm, located on Lookout Mountain, is the perfect spot to get your lavender fix this summer. Their pick-your-own season is just around the corner. For a small fee, you can pick your own bundles of lavender to take home during the last two weeks of June. It’s a short season and hours are limited, so don’t let the dates slip past you. Make sure to take your camera to snap some pretty pictures while you’re there.
If you can’t make it during this time frame, they have a storefront that’s open on Saturdays and you can shop online. They specialize in lavender essential oil, so your purchase can be practical while smelling wonderful! They even offer classes to learn about lavender.
