Chattanooga Area Farms

Buntlington Farms: 10874 Griffith HWY, Whitwell TN 37397

This beautiful farm is located just outside of Chattanooga in Whitwell, TN. They have goats, horses, cattle, and chickens and sell farm fresh eggs to the public. They open their property for birthdays, family reunions, horseback riding, church trips, school trips, camping, and more. This is a great place to take a break this spring!

Crabtree Farms: 1000 East 30th Street, Chattanooga TN 37407

This local farm is located in the heart of Chattanooga. Offering tons of produce year round, classes, workshops, field trips, you-pick events, and more, this is a great spot to visit for all things produce!

Sequatchie Cove Farms: 320 Dixon Cove Rd, Sequatchie TN 37374

Known for their eggs, this farm is just a short drive from Chattanooga. They also sell a wide variety of meat and produce while also offering classes on site.

Little Tail Farms: 280 Leilani Ln, Dunlap, TN 37327

If you’re looking for farm animals to visit, this farm is the place to go! Located in Dunlap, they offer animals, tours, overnight trips, produce, and more! This is the quintessential farm to visit this spring!

Mercier Orchards: 8660 Blue Ridge Dr. Blue Ridge GA 30513

This stunning farm in Blue Ridge, GA has everything you could need in a farm. Known for their apples, they also offer a variety of produce, a café, onsite store, tours, winery, and more are available year round. Their produce and activities change with the seasons, so check back frequently to see what’s in bloom!

Mayfield Farm Park: 257 Highway 307 East, Athens, TN 37303

This well known farm in Athens, TN is a local favorite. Many people may recognize the correlation between Mayfield Farm Park and the Mayfield Dairy that just so happens to be right down the road from the farm itself. In 1820, the Mayfield’s planted their roots in Athens, Tennessee and started the dairy in 1910. After 81 years of being in the dairy business, the dairy was sold to Dean Foods in 1991 and is still under their operation today.

From 1991-2005, the Mayfield family took a break from farming, however, in 2006, Michael Mayfield rekindled his passion for farming with fruits and vegetables. In 2008, the Mayfield Corn Maze opened its doors and has been in operation ever since. Michael and his wife Jamie now have two beautiful children and are dedicated to developing Mayfield Farm Park into the best family friendly agritourism destination in Tennessee.
