Walnut Branch: Youth Edition Magazine Launch and Exhibition

Walnut Street Publishing is excited to announce the launch of “The Walnut Branch: Youth Edition,” Chattanooga’s first fine arts magazine composed entirely of submissions from the youth of the Greater Chattanooga Area. Representing Grades K -12, over one hundred pieces of poetry, prose, and visual art express the creativity of Chattanooga’s next generation.

In partnership with the Hunter Museum of American Art, pieces from the Walnut Branch: YE will be exhibited at the museum starting October 3rd, with the launch of the magazine itself occurring October 13th as part of the museum’s ongoing Sunday Studio event.

It is our belief that by providing a space for children to be seen and heard, they will continue to articulate their experiences into adulthood, becoming more innovative, thoughtful, and fulfilled individuals in the process. To this end, we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the creativity of Chattanooga’s youth.
