Shifting Into Soup Mode: My Favorite Fall Soups The weather is finally starting to get cooler, and my internal foodie has begun the shift to all my fall favorite meals. I am hoping our readers have felt this shift, too.

I am a huge fan of simple meals that can be thrown together quickly. With all of the activities that fall brings, we are all searching for simple family meals to make our daily routines easier.

Enter soup mode and my favorite soup recipes.

Soup is the perfect easy meal for families that warms the soul. I have been counting down to soup season for a few months now. So, with my Pinterest board filled and my recipe cards pulled out, I thought I would share some of our family favorite soups with you.

Knock Off Chick-Fil-A Chicken Tortilla Soup

This is one of my husband’s favorites that I made last year. The ingredients are simple and it’s the perfect solution for getting that Chick-fil-A soup we all love at home. Throw it together with your favorite tortilla chips and fiesta blend cheese for a fun meal. Link to full recipe here.

5-Ingredient Family-Friendly Baked Potato Soup

Potato soup is a classic. This recipe brings back so many childhood memories for me when my grandma used to make it. This simple five ingredient recipe is a winner in our house. Bonus, it can be made in about 30-40 minutes. Link to full recipe here.

Best Ever Chili Recipe

Chili is hands down my favorite in fall. I always make this chili and pair it with my Dad’s corn bread recipe for the best football watching meal. I use this recipe from The Recipe Critic, but make it in the crock pot so it stays warm all afternoon and evening for football viewing parties. Link to full recipe here.

Taco Soup

The easiest soup I make for my family. I can throw all the ingredients in the crock pot in the morning, leave it on low for eight hours, and dinner is ready once we all get back home from a busy day. I always make sure to pair it with corn chips, fiesta blend cheese, and sour cream. Link to full recipe here.

To my fellow soup lovers, I hope you try and love these recipes. It is time to shift into soup mode and break out those crock pots. Happy cooking!
