Chattanooga Easter EventsIt’s springtime (depending on the week, right?), and you know what that means! In addition to the allergies and the rain, springtime means it’s time to plan for Easter. Whether you do Easter baskets, hide eggs, or gorge yourself with Cadbury eggs quietly in the closet (just me?), Easter is a great time to enjoy time with your family.

As expected, Chattanooga has a wide variety of ways to celebrate the season — check out the options below!

March 10 – April 8

Monday thru Saturday: 11am to 3:30pm, and 4pm to 8pm

Sunday: 12pm to 2:30pm, and 3pm – 6pm

Although not required, we strongly encourage all who wish to visit the Easter Bunny to make a reservation, as time-slots are limited (walk-up visits are available as space permits). Easter Egg Hunt at Mayfield Corn Maze

April 1-2 and April 7-8 1pm – 4pm

The park will be open for an Easter egg hunt and lots of family activities (bouncy pad, slide, swings, photo ops, etc.).

The Great Adult Egg Hunt and Happy Hour

  • 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Hang at Sculpture Fields

  • 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Adult Egg Hunt at Sculpture Fields

  • 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Hoppy Hour at various local restaurants

This annual fundraiser combines the arts, community collaboration, and of course, education. Through a creative partnership, local artists will create one-of-a-kind works of art on an evergreen wooden egg, and adult participants will search for the eggs at Sculpture Fields. We’ll also have eggs containing candy and prizes from local businesses!

We’ll conclude the event with a restaurant “hop” along Main Street to continue to build community and support local businesses.

Participants are encouraged to wear their Sunday best for added fun, but wear comfortable shoes!

This event benefits The Chattery’s mission of providing fun, affordable and accessible learning experiences for adults.

Chattanooga Zoo’s Hug-A-Bunny Day

April 7 and 8, 9am – 5pm

Hug-a-Bunny Days guests will have the chance to get their photo made with the Easter Bunny, enjoy springtime games and crafts, gather Easter eggs, watch as our Zoo animals enjoy their egg hunt enrichment, encounter the Zoo’s real bunnies, and more! You must enter during your time slot, but you can stay as long as you like!

Chattanooga Zoo Members enjoy a special early entry time 30 minutes before each session!

Adults $18.95, children $15.95, ages 2 and under free (for non-members)

Adults $9.00 and children $7.00 for Chattanooga Zoo members.

Easter Cruises on the Southern Belle Riverboat

The Southern Belle is offering a variety of Easter cruises this year. Choose one that fits your needs, whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, the Easter bunny or a nice cruise of the beautiful Tennessee river!

Rock City

Take part in the upcoming events at Rock City — visit for Shamrock City or Earth Dayz or just to see all the gorgeous springtime blooms from the heights of Lookout Mountain!

Easter at Coolidge Park

In 2009, Easter at Coolidge began as a fun, community event to gather families, friends and neighbors to celebrate Easter. It’s become a community-treasured, destination event on Easter Sunday!!

Do you have Easter plans yet? We’d love to see you in the park!

We’ll have coffee and donuts at the pavilion. Bring a basket for your kids to ‘hunt’ eggs. Set up a lawn chair to relax and celebrate with us during the Easter worship service.

If all else fails and you’re looking for ways to enjoy the beautiful spring weather, take a hike or visit a local playground!

We will update this guide as more events are announced. Make sure to check back regularly for event details, and leave a comment letting us know of any events we may have missed!
