It’s time to celebrate freedom, family, and fun in the Tennessee Valley! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays, and Chattanooga has lots of events for your family to enjoy.

Saturday, June 29th 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Don’t miss out on Saturday, June 29th from 3:00 -11:00 PM in Downtown Chickamauga! Enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, great food, and a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the evening!

Thursday, July 2nd 4:00 pm: Pops on the River is back for an unforgettable Independence Day bash at Coolidge Park! Chattanooga’s favorite 4th of July Celebration is back for another incredible celebration! Join the event for an evening of live music, delicious food, and dazzling pyrotechnics!

Friday, July 3rd 12:00 pm: The East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra (ETSO) announces its America 250: Faith & Family Celebration performance at on Friday, July 3, from Noon to 9 p.m. at The Commons (4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale) as Collegedale Celebrates America!

Friday, July 3rd 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Join the fun in Catoosa County for their annual Fireworks Fest! The festivities will begin at 4:00 pm with a maker’s market, food, inflatables, petting zoo & more!  There will be live music from 8:30PM – 10:00 PM at the amphitheater and a fireworks display by Pyroshows at 10:00PM.

Saturday, July 4th 4:00 pm: On Saturday, July 4th, the City of Collegedale will celebrate Independence Day with their annual “Freedom Festival and Fireworks” event. The family- friendly celebration will begin at 5:00 pm and end with a magnificent display of fireworks starting at 10:00 pm.

Saturday, July 4th 7:30 pm: The Chattanooga Football Club will play a special Independence Day match at the home of the Chattanooga Lookouts.  The game is set for July 4 at 7:30 p.m. against Inter Miami CF II.  A fireworks show is planned after the match.

Saturday, July 4th 9:00 am – 7:00 pm: Celebrate America’s birthday at CDM’s annual Red, White, and Blue Day! Say “Happy Birthday” to America on Friday, July 4. Guests will participate in science shows, story times, signing the Declaration of Independence, the 21 Geyser Salute and MORE!

Saturday, July 4th 8:00 am: The annual 1945 Dade County Fair will be held on the 4th of July. There will be food vendors, family games, bingo, a car show, a cornhole tournament and a trade show featuring more than 90 vendors.

Saturday, July 4th 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm: On Friday, July 4 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at Dallas Bay Church there will be the Lakesite Freedom Celebration!  The event will be located at 8305 Daisy Dallas Road. There will be food trucks, kids activities and fireworks! Entry is free.

Saturday, July 4th 6:00 pm: McLemore Resort will host Carnival Americana on Saturday, July 4th. This unforgettable evening blends family fun with Southern hospitality as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Carnival Americana offers live music, scenic mountain views, and a festive patriotic atmosphere. Enjoy games for all ages, a Golf Cart Parade, and performances by High Cotton. The night concludes with a spectacular mountaintop fireworks show.

Saturday, July 4th 10:00 am – 11:00 pm: Soddy Daisy Independence Celebration will light up the sky in celebration of our community and Independence Day! Join Soddy-Daisy in celebrating America’s 250th Birthday with a full day of fireworks, families, food, and fun!

Sunday, July 5th 11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Red, White and Blueberries is an annual market nestled at First Horizon Pavilion. Enjoy blueberry pie eating contests at 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm and watch the vendors compete at 3:00 pm.
