If you’re looking for a new place to grab a bite, Ruby Sunshine is that place! With hours ranging from 8am-2pm throughout the week, Ruby Sunshine is a great new space.
Just this week, three of us moms got a chance to try out their breakfast. It was a great chance to step away from the busyness of life and enjoy good conversation and a good meal. I’ll be back for sure, and here’s why you should give it a try as well…
The Space
The space is bright, cheery and clean! The red walls, colorful bathroom wallpaper (seriously adorable), and the chalkboard signs everywhere are warm and inviting. They also have a great patio space if dining outside is a better option.
Beverages
The drink menu was amazing! The mimosa and the bloody Mary were amazing, and there were many more options to choose from as well. Whether you like an alcohol-based brunch beverage or something of the coffee variety, Ruby Sunshine had great options!
The Food
OK, you can make or break a restaurant with the quality and variety of food. There was really something for everyone — sweet, savory and everything in between! We nibbled on French toast bites as a breakfast appetizer (who knew that was even a thing), then ordered everything from classic breakfast to more adventurous options as well. The Peacemaker Benedict let us try two Bennie variations including, the Hot-Smoked Salmon and Bayou Shrimp. Additionally, our waitress was quickly able to help one of us adjust menu items to match her vegan diet. It is clear they have thought of everything.
Kids Eat Free
Our waitress told us that two kids can eat for free with each paying adult. Each breakfast entree for kids includes a drink. How great is that? The kids’ section of the menu was broad enough to cover even the pickiest kid! {Kids Eat Free is a limited time offering, so don’t delay!}
Overall, Ruby Sunshine is a place to visit for sure. I’ve heard that they get busier during prime brunch hours, but we were there early in the morning so there was no wait, no line, and no problem! It was perfect for a breakfast for the girls, a brunch date, or a special treat for your whole family!

My one year old daughters name is Ruby, so I have to try this place out, the name is so great, plus the food looks like exactly what I want for breakfast/brunch. It has all my favorite foods! Looking forward to giving it a go!
