Chattanooga’s favorite snack cake has opened a beautiful park in the town of Collegedale, TN. Little Debbie Park is located just off of I-75 and has something to offer for everyone! Located just down the road from Cambridge Square, you can make a day of your visit.
I took my three boys recently, who are twelve, eleven and seven, and they all loved it. I never know what to expect anymore with my older boys when it comes to playgrounds, but they were just as happy and entertained as my seven-year-old. I even had my 15-year-old nephew with us, and he played the entire time we were there. The park is huge with a ton of open space for playing and running. The playground equipment is beautiful as much as it is functional and fun. It’s spread out in different areas, allowing for maximum line of sight for parents. My boys’ personal favorite was the zip line. They also loved all the different climbing areas and places to hide from each other.
As I mentioned, there was a ton of green space to burn off some energy. There is an open field beside the playground as well as large hill that my boys wore themselves out on running up and down over and over. There’s a walking/running track around the entire park, and it runs beside a creek with a bridge that allows for exploring. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the park and finding all of the Little Debbie statues.
As for accommodations for those watching kiddos play at the park, the options were endless. There is one very large pavilion that houses several picnic tables (that are wheelchair accessible), restrooms (which were very clean), and water fountains. Smaller pavilions line the perimeter of the park as well. My personal favorite though was the huge covered swings that were stationed around the park.
We had so much fun there! Thank you for the recommendation!!
