Located on a beautiful, wooded, 24-acre campus in the East Brainerd community, St. Nicholas School is an independent Episcopal school for boys and girls in preschool through 5th grade. Founded in 1958 as a neighborhood kindergarten at Grace Episcopal Church, St. Nicholas has grown into a unique educational community of cottage-based classrooms that provides focused settings for integrated learning. Our Early Learning Center offers a nature-based program that is Reggio Emilia-inspired. Our curriculum focuses on hands-on learning and builds problem-solving, collaboration and creative thinking skills.

St. Nicholas School offers after-school enrichments, a comprehensive summer camp, a woodworking program, foreign language, and year-round gardening programs. St. Nicholas nurtures the whole child, integrating spiritual, artistic, and physical development.
