At the beginning of December, many of the contributors gathered together for an afternoon of food and fellowship to celebrate the season and the end of our first year. We all communicate virtually, almost on a daily basis, but the opportunities to gather all together as a group are rare, and therefore special and rewarding!
The Tupelo Honey Cafe generously set aside their semi-private dining room for us, and we were also treated to an array of their most popular desserts at the end of our meal. (Psst, you gotta try the banana pudding!), with a very attentive and efficient table staff.
The contributors of the Chattanooga Moms Blog are an eclectic group of women who have gathered and pursued the goal of providing other mothers in the community with resources to find quality educators, healthcare relationships, entertainment options, and answers to questions about our area and activities. Each woman provides original content with a personal touch of experience and an openness to share stories and life lessons to others who may not even know they are seeking answers to unasked questions.
Many of our contributors have formed relationships with each other that would not have been founded except for the opportunity with CMB, and we are grateful that even in a diverse community with many varying factors, mothers can find friendship and support through their common bond of life.
As we look forward to 2017 and what it will bring to the Chattanooga Moms Blog, we hope that we can continually be an invaluable asset to the mothering community of Chattanooga. We hope that you continue following along with our lives in the blogs, daily new content, Takeover Tuesday with a new contributor each week, and the resources provided on the CMB website. We also look forward to seeing you at our upcoming Moms Night Out events, playgroups, and family friendly activities.
