CMB’s first Spring Family Carnival was a great success! The weather at Baylor School‘s campus was perfect and sunny — wonderful for a carnival full of games, prizes, crafts and snacks. Our guests spent a full afternoon traveling around to our sponsors’ tents and filling their hands with all kinds of giveaways and snacks.
Nothing better than sack races with friends on a sunny, spring day!
We were thrilled to be able to fill all of our sponsorship spots at our very first family event with wonderful, trusted businesses from around the city. Northshore Pediatric Dentistry and Webb Family Orthodontics joined us with a “live” whale, games and information on family dentistry needs. The Chattanooga Allergy Clinic has been a long-time sponsor of CMB, so we were pleased to have them on the spot to answer allergy questions and needs as we head into spring and summer.
The Bright School is another sponsor we love (check out Tahnika’s personal review of her daughter’s experience here!) and their tent provided a fun crafting activity of painting clay pots and planting herbs.
Corban and Amy Bauer’s Spin Art Zone tent was packed with kids and adults watching their construction-themed spin art machine create custom canvases for each child. Look for their booth at the Chattanooga Market this season!
The Mathnasium provided a truly unique family activity of constructing an apparatus out of tape and spaghetti noodles that would suspend a marshmallow as high as possible. We loved seeing families sitting together and working out the problem as a team!
Whole Foods Chattanooga and Birch and Magnolia provided families with refreshments and a place to relax, as well as great prize contests to enter. CMB was pleased to provide our attendees with these healthy snacks and comfortable spaces to change and feed little ones. We can’t forget the great music by DJ Bryan Laseter either! Lots of family favorites and blasts from the past for parents to dance to as well!
Bella Ballerina‘s adorable tent had all the girls running out with handmade twirling wands and fun prizes from the treasure dig. Check out their website for information on classes and scheduling!
Sawrie Orthodontics and World Sales Chattanooga provided lots of goodies for our young guests as well; everyone’s hands, strollers and diaper bags were full by the end of the afternoon!
Southern Energy, Water and Air and the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association were able to join our Carnival for part of the afternoon; CMB is thankful for their partnership in our event!
The Chattanooga Mom’s Blog is a resource for parents and families in the Chattanooga area, and we strive to provide our readers with daily original blog content, resources and links to businesses, health care providers and education options that we love and recommend, as well as events for moms, kids, and entire families. We were thrilled provide such a fun and full afternoon to families in our city, and we are looking forward to next year’s Spring Family Carnival already! See you there!
