The holiday season has arrived and with it come Christmas parades! Wherever you may be in the greater Chattanooga area, there’s bound to be a parade on this list for you!
Chattanooga Area Holiday and Christmas Parades
Lafayette, GA – Lafayette’s annual Christmas parade will be held on Friday, December 1st at 6pm. Over 90 different vehicles and floats participate in the parade and give out candy as Santa rides into town on the fire truck. After the parade, Santa Claus makes a stop at the Gazebo at Joe Stock Memorial Park for free photos with children.
Red Bank, TN – Red Bank is hosting their annual Christmas parade on Friday, December 1st. Events start at 4pm.
Chickamauga, GA – You can watch Chickamauga’s annual Christmas parade on Saturday, December 9th at 6:30pm in the historic streets of this small town.
Soddy Daisy, TN – This holiday event will be held on Sunday, December 3rd at 2pm.
Ringgold, GA – The annual Down Home Christmas Parade is Friday, December 1st at 6pm on Nashville Street.
MainX24 – This annual holiday event held on Main Street in downtown Chattanooga is great for the whole family! MAINx24 is a 24-hour long festival celebrating Main Street and the surrounding Southside, held every December since 2007. MAINx24 features programming all day long, from parades to music, this event has been a way to celebrate and showcase the burgeoning Southside. MAINx24 is organized completely by residents, merchants, and friends of the Southside community. It will be held on Saturday, December 2nd.
City of Fort Oglethorpe – Join in celebrating the season with vendors, winter skating, lighting of the tree, meeting Santa, watching the parade, and more at Stable 41 pavilion on 214 First Street! The parade takes place on November 25th at 6pm.
Collegedale, TN – Join the fun for the annual Spirit of Christmas festival. It will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 3pm – 7pm.
Cleveland, TN – Cleveland will host their annual Christmas parade on Saturday, December 2nd.
2023 Lighted Boat Parade – Taking place the Friday after Thanksgiving for over the past 40+ years, The Southern Belle and Erwin Marine Sales have lit up the Tennessee River with extravagantly decorated boats. On shore, thousands gather to get in the holiday spirit with pictures with Santa, seeing real, live reindeer and live music. Free to attend for everyone!

Blue Ridge, GA – This quaint little holiday town is hosting their Christmas parade on Saturday, November 25th at 5:30pm.
Rome, GA – The Christmas spirit will be filling the streets of Rome on Tuesday, November 28th.
Helen, GA – This adorable German town is hosting their holiday parade on Saturday, December 2nd at 5pm.
Dahlonega, GA – Known for its breathtaking beauty at Christmastime, this mountain town holds their annual parade on Saturday, December 9th.
